fkflip My first bandcamp purchase and for good reason! A lot of people praise this album for its classic metal feeling, but I think there's even some post-rock in there too that just adds to the beauty! Unique sound and highly memorable riffs. Favorite track: Falconer.

Undergroundhero Corsair are an excellent band from Charlottesville, Virginia, inspired by 70's & 80's hard rock/traditional metal, but aren't completely retro either.

Ripe candidates for influences could reference Iron Maiden or Thin Lizzy in the traditional/power metal camp musically. Corsair still don't sound like any band I have heard from the 70's & 80's, let alone the 00's.

At face value, Corsair is one of the best hard rock bands out there today in the modern traditional metal field!
